OVERVIEW
A cooking class can teach you in a matter of hours some of the most popular Vietnamese dishes. Take a guided trip to a colorful food market and learn about the local ingredients, including 'nuoc mam' (fish sauce) which is ubiquitous to Vietnamese cooking. Partake in a hands-on cooking class where you will learn and practice traditional techniques for creating delicious Vietnamese food before feasting on a delicious lunch of your creations.
PROGRAM DETAILS
0800 depart your hotel to a local market in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Here you will be given a tour and explanation on Vietnamese food products, this is your chance to learn the secrets of preparing some of Vietnam's best-loved dishes. Following continue on to the cooking centre where a chef will demonstrate the preparation of typical Vietnamese dishes before you 'become the chef' as you prepare and sample the dishes you and your fellow classmates create. Finish the tour after you've had your lunch. (L)

- Only one of the listed menus can be chosen applicable for day of departure.
- Services must be booked at least 1 day before departure.
- Price is subject to change for special menu requests.
- Groups under 10 persons will be in a 'private home'. If the group is over 10 persons then 3 private homes can be used to accommodate up to 30 persons. If the group does not desire to be split a 'non-private' cooking centre will be used instead - contact us for further information.
